The Netherlands Film Fund awarded development funding to our feature film ALLEENOVERLEVEN.

Due to a misdiagnosis, a  life-weary Antilian Artist  is told by the doctor he’s not terminal after all. Lost in its absurdist life, he is filmed by the nihilistic Awa who helps  him to find the courage to find another way out of the life in Zwolle that seems to hold him captive.

ALLEENOVERLEVEN (SURVIVAL) is an Afro-surreal feature film written and directed by Herbert Alfonso and produced by Jonathan J Smit. 

Production is set in 2023.
